ABSCONDERS FROM INDUSTRIAL SCHOOLS.
Hawera —7th ultimo, from the licensed service of John Charles Bublitz, farmer, Arareta, Sydney Johnston, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 6 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, thin build, fair complexion and hair; dressed in bluedungaree trousers, check coat and vest, and grey cap. He was licensed out from the Weraroa Training Farm.
Riccarton. —2nd instant, from the licensed service of Frederick Clark, farmer, Waimairi, William Ward, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 6in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, brown eyes ; dressed in a dark-tweed suit and cap; walks with a stoop. He was licensed out from the Burnham Industrial School.
