EXTRACTS FROM NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

(From Gazette , 1914, pages 3190 and 3193.) Coromandel Acclimatization District defined. LIVERPOOL, Governor. IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint those parts of the said Dominion described in the Schedule hereto to be a district under and for the purposes of the said Act, and I do hereby declare that such district should be known as the Coromandel Acclimatization District. SCHEDULE. County of Coromandel and Gannet Island. As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen. H. D. Inspector of Sea Fishing appointed. Marine Department, Wellington, 17th August, 1914. HIS Excellency the Governor, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by subsection (1) of section 4 of the Fisheries Act, 1908, has appointed Fbancis Job Doak, of Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island, Police Constable, to be an Inspector of Sea Fishing under the above-mentioned Act.
