All the band rings are stamped “D. H. McDougall” inside, also some of the half-hoops, clusters, &c. The half - hoops, clusters, &c., also have Roman numerals inside close to carat-stamp. Total value, about £7OO. Two youths, between sixteen and eighteen years of age, almost 5 ft. high, clean-shaven ; dressed in dark clothes and caps, were seen standing in front of complainant’s shop. One of them smashed the window with a heavy stone tied in a black handkerchief, and the other grabbed four trays containing the rings above described.
