Auckland. — 13th ultimo, from the person of JAMES HENRY FLEMING, Stockbroker, Devonport, a ladies’ gold hunting keyless watch, No. 92696, “Frank Hyams, Dunedin,” on dial; value, £22 10s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to two Men (names unknown). Descriptions : First, height p-bout 5 ft. 9 in., medium build, dark moustache, smart appearance ; dressed in brown suit and hard hat. Second, height about 5 ft. 10 in., medium build, dark moustache ; dressed in dark suit and soft-felt hat.

Auckland.— Between August last and 16oh ultimo, in transit per s.s. “ Tomoana,” from New York to Auckland, the property of SMITH AND CAUGHEY (LIMITED), drapers, thirty-one pairs of men's white-canvas rubber-soled Perfection cricket-shoes, size 8; total value, £l3 4s. 9d. Identifiable. The steamer discharged cargo at Sydney prior to her arrival at Auckland, and the offence may have been committed there.

Paeroa.— CHARLES NEWLAND and LANCE WATSON’S whare broken into : It has been ascertained that the hunting keyless watch is a rolled-gold Waltham. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 507.)
