Sydney (New South Wales). —-Between 9 p.m. 19th and 7 a.m. 20th ultimo, the following articles, the property of Frank Albert, were stolen from an upstairs bedroom at Boomerang Billyard Avenue, Elizabeth Bay, Sydney: A diamond necklet consisting of thirteen or fifteen diamonds, large one in centre, others graduated, set in platinum, with small platinum neck-chain; a heart-shaped cluster of diamonds, large diamond in centre, set in platinum; a gold arrow-shaped brooch, very large diamond in centre ; a diamond-and-sapphire flag brooch, stones set in platinum; a diamond chicken-shaped brooch, set in|’platinum ; a thin gold bracelet, plain set with a large diamond ; a black-velvet

wristlet, diamond bow at back; a diamond scarf-shaped pendant; a large opal pendant, figure of a woman carved on it and diamond bow on top ; a ladies’ platinum dressring, set with large blue diamond in centre and cluster of diamonds surrounding it; a pair of drop-shape singlestone diamond earrings, set in platinum; a pair of Creolediamond earrings, set in gold ; a gold-coin bracelet, consisting of sovereigns, half-sovereigns, and a guinea-piece; a gentlemen’s gold open-face watch with blue-enamel dial ; a plain gold bracelet, with “Minnie” on back, and a Jubilee half-sovereign, with “Minnie” and “Frank” thereon; five sovereigns; a gipsy-set diamond ring, with three blue diamonds (value, £300); a diamond brooch with “ Doody ” in diamonds thereon; and a gold medal, with diamond in centre, “ F. A.” in raised gold letters on one side, and “Presented to Mr. F. Albert by his pupils” on other side; total value, £1,300. Mr. Albert offers a reward of £IOO for the recovery of the whole or half of the stolen property, or a smaller reward in the case of the conviction only of the culprit. James Connelly, wanted on warrant for conspiracy : Offender is identical with John Baxter, alias James McDonnell, alias John Marsden, alias Frank or John Williams, alias McPherson, referred to in New Zealand Police Gazette, 1909, page 298, and whose photograph was taken at Wellington, in this Dominion, on 25th February, 1907.
