Globe Mine. 24th ultimo, the dwelling of JAMES JUGGERNAUT, miner, was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom : A hunting keyless English lever watch, with “ Turner and Kipling, Beechworth,” on dial and owner’s name on inside of front case ; an 18 ct. gold heart-pattern ring, with ‘‘J. J. ” on heart and “Gilbert Bros.” on inside thereof; a silver fetter-and-two-ovals-pattern double chain ; and two silver medals : total value, £l6. Identifiable.

Globe Mine. —l9th ultimo, from the dwelling of ARTHUR ELLIS, miner, a gold-mounted bar and three- or four-ovals-pattern greenstone double chain, a gold cross, a Mexicansilver double-curb-pattern chain, and a gold ruby-set rosebudpattern tie-pin ; total value, £5 7s. 6d. Suspicion is attached lo Robert Murdoch, age thirty-two, height 5 ft. 9 in., miner, native of New Zealand, strong build, fresh complexion, slightly pock-marked, fair hair and moustache, blue eyes ; fond of drink.

Greymouth. —23rd June last, from the person of JOHN CAIN, carter, a gold curb-pattern chain; a Waterbury watch; a gold medal, with “W. C. A. P. A., Best Boar, 1905,” and “J. Cain,” thereon; and a gold medal, with “ W. C. A. P. A., Best Team, 1906,” and “J. Cain” thereon : total value, £8 15s, Identifiable.

Christchurch. —12th ultimo, from the Exhibition Fishshop, Armagh Street, the property of LEONARD HENRY HAYWARD, a gentlemen’s heavy brown- and dark-striped rough-tweed overcoat, raised seams, three inside and two outside pockets; value, £4. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Richard (Dick) Collins, an absconder from Burnham Industrial School, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, strong build, fresh complexion, dark-brown curly hair, brown eyes, snake tattooed round left forearm ; dressed in dark-tweed coat, brown saddle-tweed trousers, and black hard hat. He was employed at the fish-shop. His parents reside at 131 Wellington Street, Auckland.
