Station; thence by a right line to Tirau Trig. Station; thence by a right line to Motukakapo Trig. Station ; thence by a right line to Pureora Trig. Station ; thence towards the south generally by a right line to the source of the Mokau River ; thence by the Mokau River to its confluence with the Mangaotaki River; thence by the Mangaotaki River to its source; thence by a right line to the source of the Kiritehere Stream, and by that stream to the sea; and thence towards the west and south-west generally by the sea to Cape Maria Van Diemen, the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands.

Station ; thence again towards the east by the eastern watershed of the Wanganui River to Ruapehu Trig. Station ; thence by East Taupo County to Mount Tawheketewhango ; thence by the eastern watershed of the Rangitikei River and the Manawatu Gorge ; thence by the summit of the Tararua Range to Mount Makahika; thenoe towards the south-west generally by a right line to the confluence of the Koputoroa Stream with the Manawatu River; thence by that river to the sea ; and thence towards the west generally by the sea to the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands.

Napier Police District.— All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, bounded towards the north generally by the sea from the north-western boundary-line of Waiapu County to East Cape; thence towards the east generally by the sea to the mouth of the Waimata River at the boundary-line between the Wellington and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts; thence towards the south by the Counties of Akitio and Pahiatua to the Manawatu Gorge; thence towards the west

by the Counties of Pohangina, Riwitea, and Rangitikei to the north-west corner of Waipawa County, on the summit of the Ruahine Range ; thence by the watershed between the Rangitikei and Ngarururo Rivers to the southern boundary of East Taupo County; thence by the Thames Police District, hereinbefore described, to the north-western boundaryline of the Waiapu County, the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands. Wellington Police District —All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, bounded towards the north generally by the Wanganui Police District and the Napier Police District respectively, hereinbefore described ; and towards the east, south, and west generally by the sea : including the adjacent islands. Also, all that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, bounded towards the north and east generally by the ocean from Cape Earewell to the mouth of the Clarence River ; thence towards the south generally by the Counties of Kaikoura, Amuri, Inangahua, and Euller ; and thence towards the west generally by the ocean to Cape Earewell, the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands. Greymouth Police District. —All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, bounded towards the north-east generally by the Wellington Polioe District* hereinbefore described, from the south-west corner of Collingwood County to the summit of the St. Arnattd Range 1 thence towards the southeast generally by Amuri County and the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Aspiring ; thence towards the south by a right line to the nearest point of Big Bay; and thence towards the north-west generally by the ocean to the southwest corner of Collingwood County, the place of commencement : including the adjacent islands. Christchurch Police District. —All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, bounded towards the north generally by Marlborough County, from Tophouse to the mouth of the Clarence River; thence towards the south-east generally by the ocean to the mouth of the Waitaki River; thence towards the south-west by Waitaki County to the summit of the Southern Alps ; and thence towards the north-west by the summit of the Southern Alps to Tophouse, the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands. Invercargill Police District. —All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, bounded towards the north generally by the Greymouth Police District, hereinbefore described, from the westernmost point of Big Bay to the northernmost point of Vincent County ; thence towards the east generally by the eastern watershed of the Hunter River and the leading spur to the mouth of the Dingle Burn; thence by a right line to Breast Hill; thencp by a right line to Lindis Peak; thence by a right line to the junction of Poison Creek with the Clutha River ; thence by a right line to Mount Pisa, the easternmost point of Lake County; thence by the Counties of Vincent, Tuapeka, and Clutha, by the last-mentioned county to a point due west of the township of Kelso ; thence by a right line to that town ; thence by the Pomahaka River to its junction with the Spylaw Burn ; thence by the Spylaw Burn to its source; thence by a right line to the source of Swift Creek or Heriot Burn ; thence by the eastern side of the Blue Mountain to the junction of the Back Creek with the Pomahaka River; thence by the Pomahaka River to its junction with the Clutha River ; thence by the Clutha River to its junction with the Kaihiku Stream ; thence by the last mentioned stream to its source ; thence by a right line to the western boundary of the Clutha County in the direction of the Cairn ; thence by the Clutha County to the sea at Chaseland’s Mistake ; thence towards the south and again towards the west by the sea to the westernmost point of Big Bay, the place of commencement: including Stewart Island and the adjacent islands.
