Auckland. —sth instant, on warranttfof commitment to Auckland Prison for one month for disobeying an order of Court to pay 2s. a week for the maintenance of his child in the Auckland Industrial School, Joseph Allen Clarke, age fifty-one, height 5 ft. 6| in., bushman and labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, grey eyes, straight nose, majority of teeth missing, “A. Dabgaville.— lsth instant, on warrant for indecently assaulting Lilian Anderson, a girl five years of age, Thomas Thompson, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 9 in., bushman and navvy, native of New Zealand, tall slight build, tbin pale face, long dark-brown moustache (curled at ends), delicate appearance; dressed in dark suit and tweed cap. He was recently employed on the roads at Kaihu.

Katikati. —21st instant, that a summons may be served on him for theft of a watch and chain, Sydney Cambell, alias Robert Stewart, age about thirty-nine, height 5 ft. 7 in., carpenter and staircase-builder, medium build, dark sandy hair, clean-shaved except small light-brown moustache, small head. He was last seen in Greymouth in May, 1910. He is a good tradesman and takes building contracts, and periodically gets on the drink. He is well known at Hokitika and Waihi.

Waihi. 22nd March last, on warrant for failing to provide for the maintenance of child, John Taylor, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 6 i®. or 7 in., stableman and general labourer, native of Jfjtahuhu, Auckland, medium build, fair complexion, fair hair, blue eyes, cleanBhaved. He was in Wanganui in July last. Complainant, Kate Parrott, has been living with offender for some years, and came from Taranaki with him to Waihi about January last. Karangahake.— 2oth ultimo, on warrant for deserting his wife, Mary Jane Storny, at Jtarangahake, Edward Joseph Storey, age thirty-nine, height 5 ft. 10|in., carpe:iMOT/and miner, native of Melbourne, fair complexion, light-grey eyes, fair curly hair; dressed in dark suit and brown Alpine hat. He(wrote fifbm Dunedin about the 10th unstant, saying that he did not intend to return. His wife and two infant children have been left destitute.

Masterton. —About Ist June last, on warrant for failing to provide for the maintenance of hia wife, Ellen Grant, and four children, John Grant, age forty-three, height about 6 ft., labourer, native of New Zealand, dark complexion, black beard (generally cut short), medium build, large nose; usually wears dark suit. He is supposed to be sorub-cutting on an East Coast station/ ro/fyU/

Christchurch. —13th instant, on warrant for deserting his wife, Mary Petterd, at Christchurch, Charles Ernest Petterd, age twenty-five, height 6 ft., clerk (late of United Service Hotel, Christchurch), native of Tasmania, well built, pale complexion, dark hair and eyes, clean-shaved, three false teeth in upper jaw ; dressed in dark-grey or dark-brown tweed suit ; has with him a brown suit-case, a Gladstone bag, and brief-bag ; wears rolled-gold chain and silver watoh. May seek hotel employment. He wrote from the Empire Hotel, Wellington, on the 16th instant, saying he did not intend to return. He will probably be accompanied by a girl named Alma Robinson, age eighteen, very dark, thin features, dark hair and eyes; dressed in green costume, brown-felt hat trimmed with green, grey overcoat; had a large dress-basket with her. Dunedin.— l3th instant, on warrant for failing to provide for the future fmaintenance of his unborn illegitimate child v Charles Drummond/ aeeu about twenty-nine, height 5 ft. He is supposed to be accompanied by Minnie Harris, a sister of complainant, age sixteen, fair complexion, dark strong build, one upper tooth out on leftside of mouth. Invercargill. —3oth June last, on warrant for disobeying an order of the Court to pay £1 a week towards the support of his wife, Edwarda Jessie Daniel, at Invercargill, Thomas Brown Alfred Daniel, age fifty, height 5 ft. lOJin., engine-driver, native of New Zealand, fair complexion, fair hair turning grey, blue eyes, stout build.
