Sydney.—Stolen, between Melbourne and Sydney, from the s.s. “ Orvieto,” on 17th or 18th ultimo, the property of Hazel Perdriau, of Beecroft, an old gold open-faced watch, “ A. D. S. to A. M. P. on her 18th Birthday ” on inside of back case; value not stated. (See New South Walet Police Gazette, 1910, page 288.) (10/1881.)
Melbourne. Thomas, age about thirty, dark hair, ruddy complexion, blue eyes, was a tram-conductor in Melbourne up to 1906 or 1907, when he left for New Zealand, and is said to have been employed in an iron-foundry at Christchurch, but no trace of him can be obtained there. (10/1747.)
