He is said to have been in Wellington in March last, and was then going under the name of Smith.

Wanganui.— l2th instant, that he may be subpoenaed as a witness for the defence in the case of Rex v. O’Connor, for trial at the Supreme Court, Palmerston North, on the 22nd instant, Anthony Rease, age about thirty, medium height, supposed station hand, clean-shaved, fairish complexion ; when last seen was wearing dark suit and cap. He left Taihape on the Bth June, and has not been seen since.

Feilding.— lst instant, on warantfor failing to provide for the future maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, William Walters, age thirty-three, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer, native of Australia, clean-shaved except dark moustache, dark hair, strong build, one upper tooth missing ; generally wears dark-tweed suit and black hard hat. Feilding. —6th instant, on warrant for failing to provide for the future maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, Gordon Sinclair, alias Jack Sinclair, age twenty-two, height 6ft., contractor, native of New Zealand, strong build, slovenly appearance, fair complexion, cleanshaved ; generally wears dark suit. Was recently at Te Kuiti. Complainant, Ada Hall, Feilding.

Wellington. —22nd instant, that a distress warrant for £39 10s. on maintenances order may be served on him for the maintenance of his children in the Wellington Receiving Home, Bert Harry Howden Caulton, alias Albert Turner, age thirty, height 5 ft. 7 in., printer and labourer, native of New Zealand, fair hair and complexion, grey eyes. Wellington. —About 8.20 pm.. 10th instant, an infant male child was left by some Person, name unknown, on the door-step of the Receiving Home, Wellington. The child was about four weeks old, fair complexion, good features, clean, and well nourished; well clothed in cream bonnet, white-woollen shawl, and a black sateen skirt (torn down the side, and used as a wrap). A letter was attached to the clothing, stating that the mother was in poor circumstances, and would call for the child when she could afford to keep him, and requested that he should be called Jack Wellington,

Wellington. —Robert Reilly, wanted on warrant for disobeying a maintenance order : It has been ascertained by Constable H. Steere, Blenheim police, that offender is employed as a billiard-marker at a hotel in Sydney. The name or situation of the hotel could not be ascertained. (See Police. Gazette, 1909, page 424.)
