Auckland. —Ist April last, on warrant of commitment to Auckland Prison for fourteen days in default of paying £2 10s. fine and costs for a breach of prohibition order, George Hayes, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 6|in., labourer, native of England, strong build, florid oomplexion, darkbrown hair, hazel eyes; very fond of drink. Waipiro. — 4th March last,ythaty a notice of fine for 14s. 6d. may be served on him for drunkenness at Tokomaru Bay, Tiopira Pokia, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer and bushman, native of New Zealand, dark complexion, stout build; dressed in dark-tweed suit and old felt hat; addicted to drink. /O

Wellington. —lsth November last, on warrant for deserting his wife, Mary Ann Robertson, at Wellington, James Ruskin Robertson (known as Robby), age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 10in., labourer, broad shoulders, hair inclined to be red, bluish-grey eyes, prominent nose, projecting ears, musical and fdnd of singing. He deserted his wife and infant child on above date, and was supposed to have gone to the Gisborne district, bushfelling, but no trace of him can be obtained there, /

Wellington. —2oth April last, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison, for twenty-four hours in default of paying Bs. fine and f for being absent without leave from a parade of the' Hejretaunga Mounted Rifles on above date, Ralph Bal@omJbe, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 9in., labourer and triiq/heiy native of New Zealand, very slim build, very fair mair/and complexion, grey eyes, cleanshaved ; usually we<m:s dark suit and cap. (See Police Gazette, 1910, puge 99.) Offender shipped as trimmer on the s.s. “ Rangattira ” for London, and to return to Ns,w Zealand. f D/'* Gkeymouth. —l3th instant, on warrant of commitment to Hokitika Prison for one month on the charge of being idle and disorderly, John Aubrey Nichols, age about twentysix, height about 6 ft., spieler, native of New Zealand, strong build, fair complexion, dark hair, full face, clean-shaved, smart active appearance; usually well dressed in light-grey tweed suit, a heavy double-breasted overcoat, and small black hard hat or cap ; frequents racecourses. Offender was charged on summons, and failed to appear.

Christchurch. —7th instant, on warrant for disobeying an order of the Qburt to pay 7s. 6d. a week towards the maintenance of child, John Page, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 9^-in., labourer, native of New Zealand, fresh complexion, brown hafir arid eyes, small nose, scars on both hands; usually weai4 navy-blue serge suit, soft shirt, and cap. Christchurch. —2oth instant, that he may be served with a notice of order for the maintenance of his wife, Francis Charles Hill, age fifty-eight, height 5 ft. 6in., blacksmith, native of England, medium build, dark complexion, blackhair turning grey, dark moustache, hazel eyes, left shoulder droops when walking ; usually dressed in navy-blue suit, and cap. Offender will probably be found working at his trade at a station or a small town, (See Police Gazette, 1909, pages 368 and 528.)

Christchurch.— lst instant, that he maybe served with a /summons in the case Rex v. Webster and Armstrong, assault and robbery, John Urquhart, age about sixty, height 5 ft. 9 in. or 10 in., labourer, medium build, fresh complexion, grey hair and beard, scar over one eye: fond of drink. /Ohooj^, Waimate. —6th instant, that he may be served with a summons for wife - desertion, William Halliday, age about forty-two, Jaeight 6 {§. l in., sh.eep-dr,6yes native of moustache onf^/brown hair; dressed'’suit/and cap; addicted to drink. Geraldine. —9th April last, on warrant of commitment to Timem,Prison hcylirs in default of paying costs for Edwards, age- ifiipty-three, height labourer, native of New Zealand, medium hpi}d, /air complexion and moustache; dressed in spit; fond,; of drink. He left the threshing-machine lie was Employed on account of an injury to his back, and was last heard of on 11th April at Temuka or Timaru.

Dunedin. —2oth instant, on warrant for disobeying an order of the Court to pay 10s. a week towards the support of his wife, Thomas Hedley Simpson Fairbairn, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 6 in., farmer, native of New Zealand, medium build, reddish complexion and hair, reddish moustache, blue eyes, scar on left side of face. His parents reside at Highcliff, near Dunedin, and be has relatives in the Hutt district. Arrears due to 15th instant, £6 10s.

Roxburgh. —About last, on warrant carnally knowing Eliza Mia; Lee Cockburn, a girl fifteap. years of age, David Devon, age about twenty-two, height 5 ft. 7 in., blacksmith,/supposed native of New Zealand, medium build, fair coinpLexion, saudy hair, clean-shaved; usually wears dark clothes and cap. /Complainant is now enceinte QlfAßiTO.—lsth ultimo, on warrant for breaking and entering the hut of Christian Hende, and stealing A pair of brown-cord tr/usenf, value Bs.
