Gisborne. the property of WILLIAM ASHLEY OGDEN, horse-trainer, a gentlemen’s 26 in. brown-leather Gladstone bag (nearly new), containing a Scotch grey-tweed suit ; a leather purse, with “W. A. Ogden ” written inside, containing sundry papers and post-cards, a cheque-book; a pair of blue-vicuna trousers, a pair of boot-brushes, a suit of pyjamas, two braided flannels (one brown and one black), a white and a coloured tennis-shirt, and a small glass hot-water jar: value, £lO. Anderson, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 3 in., bookmaker’s clerk, native of Wairoa, medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, clean-shaved ; dressed in rough grey-tweed suit, and brown soft-felt hat; tidy appearance. Offender is employed by Jack Graham, a bookmaker, and they both left for Waihi and Whakatane, via Auokland, on the 13th instant.
