Identification doubtful. Offender and another man who cannot be described were supplied with two drinks by complainant, who cashed the cheque for above amount and gave offender the balance. The cheque was on the Union Bank of Australia, Timaru, signed William Ashley, in favour of Thomas Burn. No warrant issued.
