Lyttelton. William Nicholson Stuart Ross, absentee from H.M.S. “ Pioneer,” has been arrested by Acting-Detective Ward, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 509.)

Dunedin.— Joseph McDermitt, failing to provide, has been located by the Roslyn police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 434.)

Riverton. — Thomas Henderson, theft from James Lockett, has been arrested by the Kurow police on another charge of theft at Parley. It was ascertained by Constable McGregor, Oamaru police, that he was identical with offender wanted for offences at Riverton and Invercargill. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 372.)

Invercargill. — Thomas Henderson, default of fine for theft, has been arrested by the Kurow police, and sentenced to one month in Dunedin Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 364, and preceding paragraph.)
