Boag, No. 1110, £5, for services in connection with the conviction of William Allison, Hone Heke Terangi, and others for sly-grog selling. (09/1784.) Thames. —Sergeant W. H. McKinnon, No. 388, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviction of W. J. Dunn for failing to notify the vendor of liquor that it was for a prohibited district. (09/1804.) (09/1836.) Greymouth. —Constable A. 0. Warwick, No. 1156, has been awarded £2 2s. by the Post and Telegraph Department for services in obtaining a conviction for breaking insulators at Hokitika. As it is very important to the management of above schools that all escapees be promptly arrested and returned, it is requested that particular attention be paid to this matter, and that special efforts be made to effect the arrest of any inmates improperly at large.
