Auckland. Thomas Archibald Hamilton, deserter from H.M.S. “ Challenger,” was arrested for drunkenness by Constable Flynn, Auckland police, and identified byConstable Robinson, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 56.)

Hawera.— Ching Len Leong, alias Ah Leong, default of maintenance: Warrant executed by Sergeant B. Rutledge, Mount Cook police, on information supplied by Sergeant Bernard, Hawera police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 162.)

Hawera. — Hiki Pi, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by Constable L. Carroll, Manaia police, and lodged in New Plymouth Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 107.)

Featherston. Frank George Henderson, wifedesertion, has been arrested by Constable S. Kidd, Waikouaiti police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 214.)

Wellington.— -Vincent John Fifield, disobeying order of Court, has been found by Constable MacLeod, Palmerston North police, on information supplied by Constable Dick, Martinhorough police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 302.)

Wellington. — Percy G. Hester, deserter from H. M. S. “ Pioneer,” has been arrested by Constable A. Brooks, West-, port police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 47.)

Blenheim. Frank Cleary, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Bevan, Waipiro police, on information supplied by Detective Rawle, Gisborne police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 294.)

Christchurch. John William Smith, making a false declaration, has been arrested by Detectives J. Fahey and E. W. Scott, Auckland police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 302.)
