Detective Fitzgerald, Garrett, No. 502, 15th July, 1909, with life allowance of half-pay—viz., £llß 12s. *6d. per annum, under section 28. (P. 09/791.)
Rewards. Auckland. —Constable J. S. Williamson, No. 1145, has been awarded £8 for the arrest of W. Riley, a deserter from H.M.S. “Pioneer.” (09/65.) Wellington. — Sergeant N. Miller, No. 335, has been awarded £1 by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of B. Brodie for making hopbeer without a license. (09/65.) Wanganui. —Sergeant H. Beattie, No. 538, and Constable J. Annison, No. 1049, have been awarded £2 each for services in connection with the conviction of R. G. Warnes for slygrog selling. (09/1554.) Dunedin. —Constable J. E. McQuitty, No. 1518, has been awarded £7, Constable D. R. Smith, No. 1517, £5, StationSergeant, King, No. 244, £2, Sergeant J. C. Willis, No. 659, £2, and Constables J. McHolm, No. 1099, and E. Bosworth, No. 652, £2 each, for services in connection with the conviction of Mary Tansey, Annie Tansey, James Gibbons, and Henry Alexander, for sly-grog selling. (09/1573.)
