Auckland. Gertrude Meenan, alias McCauley, failing to contribute towards the support of her child, has been located by Constable Waugh, Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 203.)
Mercer.— Harold Vincent Harvey, false pretences, has been arrested by Acting-Detective J. Powell, Auckland police, and committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. (See Police Gazette, 1909, pages 223 and 236.)
Napier. — John Campbell, wife-desertion : Warran cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 192.)
Palmerston North. — John Spencer, default of maintenance, has been found at the Omahu Maori Pa, near Pernhill. He has no money, and is unable to comply with the maintenance order. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 174.)
Palmerston North. - James Murray, drunkennes and obscene language, has been arrested by Constable Boag, Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 128.)
Martinborough. — Michael James Dalton, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Masterton police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 224.)
Wellington.— William Robinson, alias Howson, alias McKay, forging and uttering, has been arrested by Detecdve Siddells and Constable Wilson, Wanganui police, on information supplied by Cons able Satherley, Otaki police. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 86, 1907, page 360, and 1909, pages 224 and 236.)
Wellington.— James A. Howson, alias Robinson, alias McKay, forging and uttering, has oeeu arrested. (See preceding paragraph, and Police Gazette, 1909, page 224.)
Wellington.— Adelaide Emily Barking has written to her son. She is now in a situation at Patea. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 238.)
Wellington. Gilbert Alexander Craig has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 238.)
Mount Cook.— Arthur Robert Whitmarsh, wifedesertion, has been arrested by Detective J. J. Cassells, Wellington police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 27.)
Blackball. — Rene Rosarte, wanted that a summons may be served on him for causing a breach of the peace, is now undergoing a sentence in Lyttelton Prison for vasranoy, under the name of Leedham Sweeney. Charge of breach of the peace withdrawn. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 130.)
Christchurch. Winnie Taylor, default of maintenance, has been found by the Woodville police, and warrant of distress executed. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 452.)
Christchurch.— William Duffy, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable Kidd, and lodged in Lyttelton Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 214.)
Christchurch. William Nesbitt, theft, has been arrested by Constable F. W. Chapman, Denniston police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 502.)
Lincoln. — Albert E. Sergent, absconding : The Education Department request that no further steps be taken to have him returned to the school. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 191.)
Dunedin. William Summers, default of maintenance, has been served with a summons by Detective A. Ward, Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 255.1
Cape Town.-— Conrade Stephanus Kotze has been arrested by Detectives Williams and Kemp, Wellington police, on charges of false pretences and forgery, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 192.)
