MISSING.
Rawene. Since sth instant, Thomas Joseph Danaher, age sixty, height 5 ft. 9 in., retired Native School teacher, native of New Zealand, medium build, slightly round-shouldered, fair moustache only, sharp features, flushed complexion, speaks with broad Irish accent, walks as though he had sore feet; dressed in grey-tweed coat and vest, blue-serge trousers, and grey cap. Was last seen at his home, Motukaraka, on above date. Inquiry by his wife, Mary C. Danaher.
Pahiatua. — Since 10th instant, Andrew Hart, age sixteen, height about 5 ft. 5 in., gardener, native of New Zealand, slim build, dark hair and complexion; dressed in dark-tweed knicker working-suit, dark cap, black stockings, and lace-up nailed boots. His parents reside at Mosgiel. He may have shipped on a vessel from some of the ports, as he talked of going to sea. Last seen at Woodville Races on 10th instant. Inquiry by his uncle, Henry Dunn, sheepfarmer, Pahiatua, as the boy has been living with him since January last.
