MISSING.
Northcote.— Since 30th ultimo, Frank Walker, age sixteen, height about 5 ft., native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes; dressed in old dark-tweed coat and short dark-tweed pants, grey-tweed cap. Supposed to have taken an old pistol with him. Last heard of at Lake Road, Birkenhead, on 30th ultimo. Inquiry by his mother, Mrs. Annie Walker, Lake Road, Birkenhead, as she is anxious as to his safety.
Wellington. Since 9th instant, Thomas Randal, age about thirty-five, height 5 ft. Bfin., engineers’ fitter, native of England, medium build, fair complexion, dark curly hair, heavy drooping moustache ; dressed in blue-serge suit slightly soiled. He recently arrived from Sydney, and has been in a depressed state. Fears are entertained for his safety.
Waimate. —Since 2nd ultimo, John Laydham, age eighty-four, height 5 ft. 10 in. or 11 in., native of England, thin build, very frail, stoops when walking, pale complexion, full grey beard, large nose, very deaf; dressed in dark-grey tweed suit and black slouch hat. Inquiry by his relatives, as fears are entertained as to his safety.
