Palmerston North.— James Manson, wife-desertion Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 90.)
Masterton.— Donald McCaskill, theft, has been arrested by District Constable McCormack, Moawhango police, on information supplied by Acting - Detective Cameron, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 237.) y/
Petone. — Frank Ashton, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable J. Fitzgerald, Marton police, and fine paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 237.)
Wellington.— Charles Chatie, wanted at Woodville and Masterton for false pretences, is said to be identical with John Withers, alias Walker, now in New Plymouth Gaol, having been declared a habitual criminal. The photograph of Withers was shown by Detective J. Cassells to Constable P. Doyle, Masterton police, who identified it as that of offender Ghatie. (See Police Gazette, 1908, pages 97, 105, and 170.) Wellington. Stephen Duggan, theft, has been arrested by ;Detective J. Fahey and Sergeant G. Hastie, Auckland and Hamilton police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 307.) -si
