INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Macquakie District, Tasmania. — Cecil Kingston is charged on warrant, issued on the 27th April last, by Archibald Douglas, Esq., J.P., with having, on or about the sth day of December, 1907, at Queenstown, feloniously stolen the sum of £lB, the money of one Allan Smith. Description : About twenty-six years, 5 ft. 7Jin. high, stout build, round-shouldered, dark hair, dark eyebrows (thick), small dark moustache only, high forehead, small dark eyes, round chin, long thin face, dark complexion, slovenly gait, very talkative; a labourer. Supposed to have come to New Zealand. (See Tasmanian Police Gazette," a I9OB, page 100.)
