Gisborne. —Henry William Hird, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable J. O’Halloran, Taradale police, and part of th/arrears paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 127.)
Wellington. —Ernest Gecjrge Price, deserter from H.M.S. “ Encounter,” surrendered himself to the Nelson police. (See Police Gazette, 1907, jiages 201 and 219.) Wellington. —Archibald Jph# Dunn, absentee from the s.s. “ Athenic ” has been by Constable Tonkin, Nelson police. (See Police GazeUe, 1908, page 28.)
Blenheim.— Robert Johnston Gray, false pretences, has been arrested by Acting-Detective W. Lewis, Wellington police, on information supplied by Detective T. Quirke, Palmerston North police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 189.) '

Lyttelton. —John Jamieson and Robert Brown Hoseason, deseiters from 1/ “ Wakanui,” have been arrested by Constable B. EvMis, Lyttelton police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 217.)
Lincoln.— Charles Henry Willoughby, absconding from indus rial school, has bgen arrested by Constable W. McLennan, Ashburton police, and returned to the school. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 469.) Oxford.— George Henry Davies, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable A. Rowell, Hampden police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 208.) Dunedin. —Charles East, default of maintenance, has been found at Murchison by Constable F.
