Tt\ \ —■«— Christchurch. —Since December, 1906, John Edward Mall, age twenty-sevbn, |htetdlit about 5 ft. 7 in., draper, native of New Zealand, blue eyes, brown hair, fair complexion, medium build, weak chest caused through accident. Was last heard of at Palmerston North, where we was employed at a flax-mill. Inquiry by bis mother.
St. Andrew’s. —Since December, 1905, Thomas Brophy, age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 8 in. or 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, smart appearance. Was last heard of in the Masterton district. Inquiry by his father.
Caversham.— Since the 17th ultimo, Joseph Dargarville, age forty-five, height about sft. Bin., engineer, native of Scotland. Sometimes employed as draper’s assistant, large blue eyes, brown hair, medium build, stoops slightly, very quiet manner, middle finger of right hand injured, rather slovenly gait, pronounced Scotch accent, full sandy beard trimmed to a point ; dressed in navy-blue serge suit, bluish-grey cap, soft striped shirt, and heliotrope knitted tie. He was very melancholy, and fears are entertained for his safety.
Waitati.- Since Ist January last, Manuel Godfrey Shepherd, age sixteen, height 5 ft. 8 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, slim build, sallow complexion, blue eyes, fair hair, very prominent mouth, all upper teeth extracted lately; has a blue vicuna and a dark-tweed suit with him. Was employed on the farm of John Coutts, Pleasant Valley, and is said to be the father of an unborn illegitimate child, by Annie Shennan, an industrial school girl, also in the employ of Mr. Goutts.
