From H.M.S. “ Encounter ,” at Melbourne. Walter Smith, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 3 in., native of England, A. 8., dark-brown hair, brown eyes, fair complexion ; deserted 4th November, 1907. John Thomas Attwell, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 7 in., native of England, private R.M.L.1., dark-brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion; deserted 4th November, 1907. George Jones, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 5 in., private R.M.L.1., brown hair and eyes, fresh complexion ; deserted 4th November, 1907. Harry Aubrey, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. in., native of England, stoker, light-brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, “ H.A,.,” male and female on left forearm, flag on right arm ; deserted sth November, 1907. A reward not exceeding £3 each will be paid for their apprehension.
From H.M.S. 11 Encounter,” at Sydney. John George Blundell, age twenty-two, height sft. 3 in., native of England, A. 8., dark hair, grey eyes, sallow complexion, tattooed on both forearms ; deserted on 13th November, 1907. A reward not exceeding £3 will be paid for his apprehension.
From H.M.S. “Psyche,” at Adelaide. William Charles Trapp, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. in., A. 8., native of Victoria, dark-'orown hair, brown eyes, dark complexion, ring tattooed on right little finger; deserted 21st November, 1907. Robert Alexander Denham, age twenty, height 5 ft. 9 in., stoker, native of Gippsland, brown hair, brown eyes, fair complexion, small soar below left knee-cap; deserted 21st November, 1907. Alfred Ernest Brookes, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 5 in., stoker, native of Victoria, light hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, brown scar on right wrist; deserted 22nd November, 1907. A reward not exceeding £3 each will be paid for their apprehension.
