Burton-on-Trent (England).—£2o reward is offered for the arrest of

Horace Alfred Bradbury, charged with embezzling £69 3s. on the 14th May, 1907, and other sums amounting to over £2,000, the moneys of his employers, Messrs. Charrington and Go., brewers, Burton on-Trent. Description: Age about forty, height about sft. 10in., brewer’s traveller, fresh complexion, full round face, brown hair inclined to be curly, sandy moustache, brown eyes, stout build, speaks with a squeaky voice, gentlemanly appearance, and good address. His father is said to be living in New Zealand. (07/2109.)

Godden, age fifty-five to sixty, height 5 ft. 6 in. or 7 in., clerk, native of England, stout build, grey hair, beard, whiskers, and moustache, a chess and draughts player, was for many years employed in the office of Mr. Kingdon, solicitor, Nelson; fond of drink. Inquiry through the Blenheim police by his brother, Henry L. Godden, London, who is anxious to communicate with him.

California. —$1,000 reward is offered for the capture of James or Jim Richardson, for the murder of DeputySheriff Joe D. Price on the 13th March, 1907. Description : Age twenty-one, looks twenty-three, height between 5 ft. 9 in. and 6fc., weight between 175 lb. and 190 lb., clear complexion, brown hair, light bluish-grey eyes, lashes turn upwards, light eyebrows ; wears No. 9 shoe and 7| hat; usually wears hair long and parted in the centre, talks little and generally answers with a grunt, walks erect with swinging gait, and when talking stands erect with head back ; had a light fuzzy growth on face at ears, gradually getting to a stiff beard at' chin ; generally wears muffler round his neck ; is a good bicycle-rider; is a labourer, but has some knowledge of coalmining and wood-chopping, and has worked in stables; dresses fairly respectable when not working. Is a native of Rayville, Ray County, Missouri. Is a cunning petty burglar, and will probably be armed. If traced, information to be forwarded to the Commissioner’s office before arrest. (07/2124.)

Perth (Western Australia). A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Leonard Francis Hyman, late manager Government Savings-bank, Kalgoorlie, for embezzling £574 6s. 3d., property of the State Government, on or about the 13th September last. Description : Age about thirty-two, height 5 ft. 11 in., medium build, brown hair, clean-shaved, blue eyes, oval visage, long straight nose, pallid complexion, good-looking gentlemanly appearance, takes long strides, head slightly forward ; generally wears grey sac suit, light high soft-felt hat with deep band. Sydney. —A warrant, where summons is disobeyed, has been issued by the Central Police Bench for the arrest of John Patrick Byrnes, charged with child - desertion. He is twenty-Beven years of age, 5 ft, 11 in. or 6 ft. high, thin build, fair complexion, very fair hair, clean-shaved, good set of teeth, bow-legged ; usually wears dark clothes and a black hard hat; a labourer. Launceston (Tasmania). — George Cleaver is charged on warrant, issued on the 16th September, with having at Launceston, since the 12ch day of September, 1907, left his wife, May Cleaver, without means of support. Description : Age twenty-two, height, 5 ft. 7in. or Sin., ereot build, fair hair, thick lips, large mouth, pale complexion, cleanshaven ; is fond of singing; generally dresses in dark clothes, but may be wearing a coat of light material. Left Launceston on 12th September; supposed to have gone to Hobart en route for New Zealand. Photo now in the office of Commissioner of Police, Hobart.
