DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.
From H.M.S. “ Pioneer,'” at Auckland, On lith June, 1907. James Joseph Phillips, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., domestic, native of Victoria, dark-brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion. A reward not exceeding £3 will be paid for his apprehension.
From H.M.B. “ Challenger,” at Sydney. William Lack, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 10 in., stoker, native of Queensland, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, dark complexion, coat of arms on right arm ; deserted 3rd June, 1907. Charles Whitton, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 10 in., native of London, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, fresh complexion, scar on forehead ; deserted 7th June, 1907. George E. Kitto, age thirty-three, height 5 ft. 8 in., native of London, dark-brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, two scars on forehead; deserted 7th June, 1907. A reward of £3 each will be given for their apprehension.
