DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.
From H.M.S. “ Prometheus,'' 1 at Sydney. On 6th March, 1907.
John H. C. Breckels, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 7 in., AB., native of England, brown hair, brown eyes, fresh complexion, bunch of flowers, “ Beattie ” on right arm, scar on wrist, bunch of flowers and horse-shoe on left arm. A reward of £3 will be paid for his arrest if he is placed in naval custody before 6th March, 1909.
From H.M.S. “ Challenger ,” at Hobart. On 9th March, 1907.
Edward James Jones, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 7 in., domestic, native of Scotland, brown hair, hazel eyes, dark complexion, dog tattooed on right arm. Is said to have resided at the Willow Bank Boardinghouse, New Zealand, and is supposed to have boarded the s.s. “ Monowai,” at Hobart, on the Btli March, for the Bluff. A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension.
From H.M.S. “ Encounter," at Hobart. On 12th March, 1907. John James Daniel, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 6 in., native of Yorkshire, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, fresh complexion, clasped hands and heart on right muscle, coat of arms, eagle, snake, monument, clasped hands and heart on right forearm, star and anchor on back of right hand. A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension.
