Eden Terrace (Auckland). — Between Ist and 6th ultimo, from the premises of FELIX VINCENT KELLY, surveyor, Park Road, a gentlemen’s Rudge - Whitworth free - wheel bicycle, No. 142802, hand-brake, no back-pedal brake, high handles, cork grips with black tips ; value, £lO. Identifiable.
Te Aroiia.— Between Ist January and 20th March last, from Richmond Downs Estate, property of the ASSETS REALISATION BOARD, 224 crossbred full-mouth ewes, Q in red branded on rump, square back bit out of each ear; value, £IOO : also about two hundred crossbred lambs ; ewes have a square notch out of back of each ear, wethers a square notch out of back of right ear and a square notch out of the front of left ear ; value, about £IOO. Identifiable.
Onehunga.— l6th instant, from the Hibernian Hotel yard, property of JOHN PATERSON, Mount Roskill, two nearly new buggy-lamps with small oval front, fairly large sides ; value, £1 ss. Identifiable.
Hawera. —sth instant, from the bedroom of LORRIE JOSEPH, tobacconist and hairdresser, a gentlemen’s silver hunting Elgin watch, Nos. 22583 and 344906, one of the numbers on the works, the other number on the case; value, £3. Identifiable.
Normanby. —sth instant, from the tent of IVOR BEARD, labourer, a rolled-gold open-faced keyless watch, fancy back and front; a ladies’ rolled-gold muff-chain, fine links ; a silver matchbox ; a Bengal razor and case : value, £3. Identifiable.
Taihape.— 2sth or 26th ultimo, from the public-works stables, Mataroa, property of JOHN McLEOD, a gentlemen’s old colonial saddle, large knee-pads, saddle turned up at back, two Ds missing near the crupper, split-leather girth, large rusty stirrup-irons,old stirrup-leathers, old brown saddlecloth sewn up the centre with black thread ; value, £2. Identifiable.
Taihape. —2sth or 26th ultimo, from the public-works stables, Mataroa, property of REUBEN LIGHTBOURNE, a gentlemen’s nearly new colonial saddle, nickel stirrups, brass keepers on stirrup-leathers, bluish-coloured saddlecloth, English leather breastplate, square buckles ; value, £5 10s. Identifiable.
Masterton.— About 14th instant, from the bedroom of MAY BENNETT, housemaid, Oxford Boardinghouse, a gold-mounted greenstone brooch about 1 in. long by J in. wide set with pearls, the pearls are larger in centre, value £2; an 18 ct. gold narrow band ring, diamond in centre, two smaller diamonds on each side, value £4; als ct. gold broad band ring set with three rubies, value £2. Identifiable.
Culverden. —Between 7th and 14th instant, from a paddock, property of LIONEL OLIVER, sheep-farmer, twentytwo halfbred two-tooth wethers branded H S and C over D in black on back, black dot on shoulder, bit out of top of both ears ; twenty-five three-quarter-bred Shropshires, branded C over D on rump in black, black dot on shoulder, punch-hole in off ear, slit down centre of near ear ; value, £47. Identifiable.
Timaru.— Between 6th and Bth April last, between Studholm and Washdyke, property of Messrs. GUINNESS and LE CREN, auctioneers, 100 mixed halfbred and three-quarter-bred two-tooth wethers, branded 21 on shoulders, three fresh notches out of right ear ; value, £67 10s. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —Between 2nd and 6th instant, from the dwelling of FRANK WOODS, draper, a gold Maltese cross, “E. J.W. ” on it, value £2 ; a gold-mounted greenstone pendant, value £1; and a pair of old-fashioned ear-rings, value £l. Identifiable. Breaking and entering by window.
Dunedin. —13th instant, from the dwelling of THOMAS BECKWYTH ROGERSON, Saddle Hill, a gold open-faced watch, “ Thomas Gaunce, maker, Melbourne,” on dial, “ Thomas Beckwyth Rogerson ” on inside of case, and “T.8.R.” on outside; an 18 ct. gold cable-pattern chain, “G.H.” stamped on one of the links; value, £3O. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —Between 9th and 11th instant, from the bedroom of MARGARET ROSS, Wain’s Hotel, a ladies’ darkgrey hopsack-cloth sac coat, lined with grey figured satin, value £2 10s. Identifiable.
Port Chalmers. 9th instant, from the dwelling of JOSEPH CODDOI, fisherman, Mansfordtown, a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold band ring, lines and leaves engraved on it; value, £2. Identifiable.
Balclutha. — 19th January last, from the guard’s van, Railway-station, Owaka, property of WILLIAM FREDERICK BECK, ranger, Acclimatisation Society, Dunedin, a medium-sized English saddle and a snaffle bridle ; value, £5. Identifiable.
