JANE SCARBROA, East Street, a ladies’ rolled-gold huntingwatch ; a gentlemen’s rolled-gold curb chain, with charm and photograph of complainant, and an American sailor in white naval uniform ; a ladies’ gold granny chain, very small links, with charm and similar photograph as on gentlemen’s chain ; value, £B. Breaking and entering by window.

PARKINSON, Hardinge Street, a small 22 ct. gold curb bracelet; a ladies’ gold watch-chain, with tassel at end ; a gold watch-chain with small round links; a gold sleeve-stud with squares engraved on it; a£s Jubilee coin; a£2 Jubilee coin; a£l Jubilee coin ; and £lO 9s. in gold and silver : total value, £3O 9s. Gisborne.—loth instant, from the s.s. “ Victoria,” between Napier and Gisborne, the property of JOHN WALTERS, commercal traveller, six gentlemen’s Panama sample hats, black bands, sizes 6J and 7}, four figures inside leather band, first two figures 14; value, £5. Identifiable.
Shannon.—7th instant, from the tent of THOMAS MADGE, engine-driver, Linton, a silver open-faced watch, No. 1340333, numerals on dial; silver curb watch-chain with greenstone pendant attached (heart-shaped compass in centre); value, £5. Identifiable.
Richmond.—3otli or 31st ultimo, from the railway-station waiting-room, the property of THOMAS BELL, farmer. Murchison, a brown-leather portmanteau, with metal plate on side inscribed “ T. Bell,” containing a marking-pad and stamp-set “ Leslie Bell,” six dress shirts, twelve handkerchiefs, a suit of pyjamas, and various articles of clothing; value, £5. Identifiable.
Spring Grove.—l3th or 14th instant, from the shop of GEORGE HALL, an oil lamp, an acetylene-gas lamp, three bells, two pairs of toe-clips (one steel and one wire), two pairs leather toe-clips, two pairs leather-strapped clips, four bicyclepumps, a pair of pump-clips, and a bag containing bicycle tools ; value, about £2. Breaking and entering.
Reefton.—About 15th ultimo, from THOMAS HOGAN, miner, a small black smooth-haired terrier dog, long body, very long hair at butts of ears, has been taught a number of tricks; value £lO. Suspicion attached to three men who are supposed to" have come to Wellington en route to Waihi. Description : Duggan, alias Toiler, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 10 in., miner and spieler, rather stout build, dark-brown hair and moustache; Ryan, alias Ginger, age twenty-eight, height 6 ft. l| in., miner and spieler, slight build, light-ginger hair and moustache; McLean, age twenty-eight, height 5 ft. 9 in., miner and spieler, medium build, brown hair and moustache.
Christchurch.—l2th instant, from the Farmers’ Cooperative Store, Cashel Street, the property of ALICE LAYTON, Kingsley Street, a small wicker basket with two leather straps, containing a black skirt with plain yoke in front, a black delaine blouse (insertion collar and cuffs), a striped underskirt, and two pieces of faneywork ; value, £2. Identifiable. A woman, described as tall, slim build, with hat turned up at one side, was seen to take the basket away.
Christchurch. —11th instant, from St. John’s Vicarage, £2, consisting of a £1 note and gold, the property of HAROLD PURCHAS, also a small plain black-leather purse containing between £3 and £4 in notes, gold, and silver, the property of ELIZABETH HIX. Purse only identifiable.
Christchurch.—7th or Bth instant, from AGNES JOHNSTON, boardinghouse-keeper, Madras Street, a half-hoop 18 ct. gold ring set with five diamonds, value £2O ; a halfhoop 18 ct. gold ring set with two sapphires and two diamonds.
value £l6 10s.; an 18 ct. marquise ring set with a cluster of about twenty-two diamonds and three sapphires in centre, value £22. Identifiable.
Christchurch.— sth instant, from High Street, the property of WILLIAM MAIN, boot - manufacturer, a gentlemen’s new Hudson bicycle, black- enamelled, 22 in. frame. No. 89196 over 113, upturned handles, leather grips; value. £lO. Identifiable.
