Auckland.— L. Morrison, theft from Robert ETis, has been arrested by Acting-! >etective J. W. Hollis, Auckland police. He is n« tid nt.ical wish Charles Bei-nett., nephew of complainant. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 277 )
Auckland.- Elizabeth Smylie, absconder from Industrial School, is now working ar. the Albany Hotel, near Auckland. (See Police Gazette, 1905, pages 245 and 271.)
Pukekohe.— Walter Stannard, theft from John Bilkey, has been arrested by C mmole A. McPhee, Te Awamutu police, on information supplied bv Constable P. J. McGowan. (See Police Gazette, 1901, page 131.)
Palmerston North. David Cumming Simpson Wright, wife desertion, has been arrested by the Gisborne police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 269.)
Waimate.— Charles Hayward alias Harry Leigh, who is in custody at Invercatgdl on several charges, pleaded guilty to false pretences on James Rillston, aod was sentenced to three months’ hard labour. {See P dice Gazette, 1905, page 90.) He is identical with Frank Walker alias E. Langley. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 265.)
Dunedin.— Martin Joyce, theft from Robert A. Cantrell, has been arrested by Detective J. Cooney, Dunedin police. He pleaded guilty to receiving, and was fined £2 and costs. (See Police Gazette, 1905, pages 162 aud 170.)
Invercargill.- John Thomas Williams, disobeying order of Court for the maintenance of his wife. Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1892, page 87.)
