Eden Terrace. —l9th instant, from a stable, the property of GEORGE SIMMS, clerk, Carlton Gore Road, a gentlemen’s hunting saddle, restuffed, new flap, lined with blue cloth, two yellow girths, solid nickel stirrups branded “ A.I. ” ; a light double-reined bridle, red patent leather head-band, nickel-plated single-ring bit; a pair of gentlemen’s patentleather dancing-shoes, size 5, well worn: value, £4 10s. Identifiable.
Hamilton. —9th instant, from the dwelling of FRANK WINTER, three £lO notes, and between £ls and £2O in gold and silver. Entrance effected through back door, which was left open.
Hawera. —2lst instant, the property of H. TEMPLE ATKINSON, solicitor, a gentlemen’s bicycle, numbi r unknown, “R. Fortune, Cycle-maker,” on down-bar, 24 in. frame, black t namelled, free wheel, nickel-pla’ed rims, front brake, roller chain, rubber pedals, Dunlop tyres, straight handle-bars ; value, £l2.
Wanganui. WOODLEY ARMSTRONG PROUSE, dentist, a gentlemen’s nearly new Cleveland bicycle, black enamelled, 22 in. spring frame, free wheel, reversible handles, twin - roller chain, B. 85 saddle; uncommon style of bicycle in this colony: value, £24.
Dannevirke —l2th instant, the property of RICHARD SLADE, a nearly new canvas horse-cover, “J. Neagle ” branded on side, stable stain on right side, large size; value, £1 3s. 6d. Identifiable.
Petone. Between Bth and 12th instant, from the dwelling of NEIL CHRISTIAN ANDERSON, labourer, a double-cased silver Waltham watch, No. 5520289, “N.A.” on outside of case ; a silver chain, long links, with a medal shaped like a V.C., and a silver match-box attached: value, £3. Identifiable.
Wellington. —l9tn February last, from Queen’s Wharf, the property of ARTHUR McKEE, 108, Oriental Bay, a gentlemen’s very oid Champion bicycle, dropped handles, grips missing, roller brake, broken mud guard on back wheel; value, £4. Identifiable.
Wellington. —3oth November last, from a bedroom in the Trocadeio, Lambton Quay, the property of JOHN WICKS, surveyor, Sydney, a camera, 9 in. by 6 in. by 5 in., No. 3016, “ Adams and Co.” on inside of lid, two circular levers on top and side, Cook lens, No. 6310; value, £l3 13s. Manners Street (Wellington). Between Bth ultimo and 20th insta: t, from the duelling of ANNIE KING, 9, Courtenay Place, a gentlemen’s silver hunting 1-ver watch, No. 113232, maker, Ehrhardt, a gentlemen’s snake-pattern gold chain attached; six silver teaspoons with “A.K.” engraved thereon : value, £5 10s. Identifiable.
Mount Cook. —23rd March last, from outside the White Swan Hotel, the property of ERNEST ORR, a gentlemen’s Red Bird bicycle, 24 in. or 26 in. frame, block chain, upturned handles, lamp-bracket and niokel pump attached ; value, £lO. Identifiable;
Christchurch. —lst instant, the property of COURTENAY NEDWILL, a pair of cream-coloured hall drape curtains with faded pink flower thereon, five shirts, seven collars size 16, two table-cloths, a white-flannelette night-shirt, a large white frill for under-skirt, a cream-coloured serge costume, coat lined with white satin, “ C. Nedwill ” on all articles ; value, £lO 14s. 6d.
Christchurch. —23rd ultimo, from Warner’s Hotel, the property of JOHN BUCHANAN, a gentlemen’s Red Seal Anglo-Special bicycle, No. 6509, black enamelled; value, £l7. Identifiable.
Christchurch. —7th instant, from a tram-car, the property of CHARLES MULHOLLAND, tram-guard, a threequarter blue-cloth Chesterfield coat, velvet collar, repaired near right pocket, red and blue lining in sleeves ; value, £2. Identifiable.
Christchurch.— 24th or 25th April last, from Riccarton racecourse, the property of PATRICK BURKE, two large table-knives (ivory handles) “ C.-J.C.” in black thereon, eleven table-spoons, four dessert-spoons, eleven large and six small forks, all electro plated, and “ P. 8.” engraved thereon ; value, £6. Identifiable.
Christchurch. —l2th instant, from the railway-yard, the property of JOHN KEARNS, a gentlemen’s Rudge-Whit-worth bicycle, plated rims with black ring in centre, front cover patched in three or four places, Coventry saddle; value, £B. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —15th instant, the property of PERCY P. GIBBS, Port Chalmer-s a seaman’s discharge-book with two discharges entered ; a black book, “ P. F. Gibbs ” on front; £4 10s. in gold, tied in corner of a ladies’ silk handkerchief, “A present from Queenstown ' 1 on one corner of handkerchief and a shamrock on another : value, £5. Identifiable, except money.
Dunedin. —10th instant, from the X.L.C.R. boardinghouse, the property of WILLIAM DOOLAN, five £1 notes (three on Bank of New Zealand), a florin, two threepenny pieces, a silver watch-cham with one long and three short links alternately, a silver locket (“ W.D.” scratched on back and photo of girl inside) attached ; value, £6. Suspicion attached to George Hampshire , age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 6 in. or 7 in., a labourer, stout build, fair moustache, fresh complexion. Residing in Dunedin.
Dunedin. —sth or 6th instant, the property of ROBERT MURIE, Phoenix Cycle Works, a gentlemen’s Americanmade bicycle, 22 in. frame, flat G. and J. rims, ljin. top bar, drooped handle-bars with expander, collar-nut for tightening seat, black enamelled, four punch-holes underneath centre ; value, £7. Identifiable.
