Gisborne.— H. G. Lomax, false pretences on Common, Shelton, and Co. (Limited), has been arrested by Constables J. A. Cruickshank and J. J. Melville, Bluff police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 133.)

Palmerston North. — Leonard John Meyrick, default of fines, ha 3 been arrested by Detective F. J. Bishop and Acting-Detective A. Ward, Christchurch police. Fines paid. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 145 )

Dannevirke.— John J. Clifton, failing to make provision for the maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, has been arrested by Constable C. Lill -y, Masterton police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 145.)

Wellington. — James Hendry Elliott Tyson, disobeying an order of Court, has been arrested by Constable C. J. King, Manners Street police, on information supplied by Detective J. J.
