Rewards

Constable G. T. Baker, No. 941, has been awarded £1 9s. by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Loo Gee, at Greymouth, for having opium in his possession. (04/10.)

Sergeant W. Warring, No. 202, Detective G. Fitzgerald, No. 502, and Constable J. O’Halloran, No. 797, have been awarded £2 10s. each by the Customs Department for services in connection with recent opium cases at Timaru. (04/10.)

Constable D. Treacy, No. 601, has been awarded £1 10s. by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Chew Quong, at Arrowtown, for being in possession of opium. (04/10.)

Detective W. Campbell, No. 316, and Constable G. T. Baker, No. 941, have been awarded £4 each for services in connection with the conviction of T. Fernley, at Greymouth, for being in possession of opium. (04/10.)
