Agnes Cuthbertson Pope is inquired for by the Havelock police. Description: A native of Scotland, thirty-eight years of age, 5 ft. 4in. high, stout build, dark complexion. May be living with a man named Godfrey Simmosen, who works about stables. Was last heard of at 5, Buller Street, Wellington.

Frederick Sydney Clothier is inquired for by the Dunedin police, as fears are entertained for his safety. Description: A native of London, England, music-traveller, forty-four years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. high, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, partly bald, upper front teeth missing, short brown whiskers and moustache; dark-tweed suit, black hard hat, dark-brown overcoat, and new lace-up boots, size 5. Was last seen at 6, Leith Street, Dunedin, about the 23rd April, 1903.

Selina Richards is inquired for by the Inglewood police at the instance of her father. Description : A native of New Zealand, nineteen years of age, 5 ft. 9 in. high, slim build, dark-brown hair, hazel eyes, medium nose, large mouth; was wearing a brown dress with white insertion on the neck and breast and high-legged boots.

Theodore Lichwark is inquired for. by the Hawera police that summonses may be served on him for making false statements under the Post Office Act. Description : A colonial, of German parents, about twenty-six years of age, about 5 ft. 8 in. high, fair hair, clean-shaved except moustache; generally wears dark clothes; fond of drink. Was

recently in Waitara, Opunake, and Eltham giving lessons in horse-training.

Michael Henry Stewart is inquired for by the New Plymouth police that he may be compelled to contribute towards the support of his mother. Description : A native of New Zealand, blacksmith, twenty-eight years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. high, stout build, fair hair, moustache only, fresh complexion. Supposed to be in the Auckland District; was recently on the Great Barrier Island.

Thomas Mullins is inquired for by the Feilding police, at the instance of his wife, with a view of compelling him to contribute towards her support. Description: A native of Limerick, Ireland, farmer and miner, sixty-two years of age, 5 ft. 7 in. or 8 in. high, stout build, black curly hair turning grey, pale complexion; always well dressed ; is fond of drink.

Richard Fadden is inquired for by the Woodhaugh police at the instance of William Scott, Woodhaugh. Description : A native of Kiama, New South Wales, quarrymaster, thirty-seven years of age, 5 ft. 8 in. high, stout build, florid complexion. He arrived in New Zealand in August last to take charge of the Dunedin Corporation quarries, and left there suddenly in May last, and nothing has been heard of him since.

Florence McEvoy is inquired for by the Waimate police at the instance of her brother, George McEvoy. Description : A native of New Zealand, servant, eighteen years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. high, fair complexion and hair, blue eyes, round full features, three moles on right side of face close to hair, and moles on chin. Was last heard of at Otairo on the 13th ultimo.

Thomas McNamara is inquired for by the Balclutha police with a view of serving him with a summons for assault. Description: A native of New Zealand, groom and labourer, twenty-six years of age, 5 ft. 6| in. high, fresh complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, right eye injured, always has a weeping appearance, small shamrock tattooed on right hand ; generally dressed in dark-tweed suit, Dr. Jijn hat, or shabby light-tweed suit. McColl. Wales police as to the whereabouts of John McColl. Description : A native of Fenmore, Argyleshire, Scotland, sixtyseven years of age, 6 ft. 2 in. high, fresh complexion, fair hair, blue eyes. He arrived in Adelaide forty years ago with his brother, Neil McColl, and was last heard of about thirty years ago, when he was keeping, or residing at, an hotel near Lackland Diggings, New South Wales. Hazell. —lnformation is requested concerning the whereabouts of Edward Leo Hazell. Description: A farmlabourer, thirty-three years of age, 5 ft. 6in. high, may now be much taller, dark-blue eyes, fair long features, large mole at back of head. Was last seen in Auckland about Christmas, 188.8, by his late employer, Duncan McGregor, of Kaipara. Inquiry at the instance of his mother, Bridget Hazell, 15, Pasley Road, Kennington Park Road, London. (03/828.)
