Samuel Valentine Pease is oharged on warrant with larceny as a bailee on Edith Ann Archer, 1, Clarence Street, Elsternwick, at Prahran, on the 18th instant, of £2OO. Description : A furniture-dealer, thirty-five years of age, sft. 11 in. high, thin wiry build, sallow complexion, cleanshaven, dark or brown hair, very high cheek bones, narrow chin, small mouth, false teeth in the upper jaw on right side, hesitating manner when speaking; wore a black-twist sac coat and vest, light-blue coloured tweed trousers, and lightcoloured alpine hat with small leaf. Arrest desirable in any of the Australian States. —0.3451. 19th April, 1901.

James Alexander Sutherland is charged on warrant with larceny as a clerk of £SO and £lO, moneys of the Bank of Australasia, Melbourne, at Williamstown, on the 22nd March and the Ist April, 1901, respectively. Description : Twenty-six years of age, about 5 ft. 8 in. high, medium build, fair complexion, brown hair, fair moustache only ; dresses well, respectable appearance. Was bank-teller at the Williamstown branch. He was seen in Melbourne on the Bth instant, on which date he left for Sydney by the express train. Arrest desirable in any of the Australian Colonies.
