Deserters from His Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Archer," at Lyttelton. On 22nd March, 1901. John Thomas Blinkhorn Pearson, ordinary seaman, nineteen years of age, a native of England, 5 ft. 3^in. high, brown eyes, dark complexion, fish tattooed on left arm, anchor on right arm. A reward of £3, in addition to £5 from the Colonial Government, will be paid for his apprehension.
(See Police Gazette, 1901, page 15.) Gilbert E. S. Stevens, deserter from H.M.S. “ Mildura,” has been arrested by Constable J. Moffatt, Masterton police.
