Kaitaia. —Thomas Smith, jun., settler, reports stolen from his paddock, about the 26th June last, a dark-red shorthorn heifer, three years old, heavy in calf, branded PX over 7, supposed on the right rump, a white spot on one flank; value, £4.
Dunedin. —James Lindsay Nicholson, farmer, Barewood, reports stolen from a paddock, on the 14th June last, a darkbrown gelding, seven years old, 14£ hands high, no brands, lump on near knee ; value, £7.
