(See Police Gazette, 1899, page 396.) Special Inquiry. Special inquiry is requested for the whereabouts of Edward L. Wilson, now on bail under committal for trial on a charge of gross indecency. Description: Stout build, age forty years, height 5 ft. 8 in., dark hair, clean shaved, growing sideboards, round full face, dark prominent eyes, rather sallow complexion, draws down one side of mouth when speaking, probably wears blue glasses, generally dresses in dark suit and black hard hat; lately land agent, Barrack Street, Perth. In the event of this man’s whereabouts being ascertained, he should be kept under strict surveillance, and the officer in charge of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Perth, should be informed by telegram. A. 2/3203. Note. —A warrant was issued on the 7th March, 1900, by the Chief Justice of Western Australia, for offender, who was indicted at Perth for above offence. He was recently in Sydney ; arrest very desirable. (00/417.)
