Extract from New South Wales Police Gazette.

Tingha.— A warrant has been issued by the Tingha Bench for the arrest of Alfred Cook, charged with fraudulently obtaining money from Sinclair McKay. Offender is twentyeight years of age, 5 ft. 8 or 9 in. high, medium build, dark complexion, dark hair and moustache; dressed in dark clothes and light-felt hat with brim turned down. Supposed to have gone to Sydney en route to New Zealand.
