(From Gazette, 1898, page 265.) Sydney. —A warrant has been issued by the Central Police Bench for the arrest of Ambroise Roger, charged with a breach of the Insolvency Act at Sydney on 23rd ultimo. Offender is about fifty years of age, 5 ft. 7in. or Sin. high, stout build, florid complexion, fair beard whiskers and moustache inclined to sandy, beard parted at chin, hair stands straight up from forehead ; usually dressed in grey clothes; a Frenchman. Left Sydney on 23rd ultimo, per s.s. “ Tarawera,” for New Zealand, under the name of T. Read. Arrest desirable.
