Richard Anderson is inquired for by his brother, Andrew Anderson, through the Wellington police. He arrived in Wellington from Dunedin on the sth instant, and has not been seen since.

Description : A native of London, a farmer or hotelkeeper, sixty-two years of age, about 5 ft. 9 in. high, medium build, grey eyes, sallow complexion, dark hair beard whiskers and moustache turning grey, stoops when walking, and will not look any one in the face, very heavy eyebrows, slow speech; has the dress and appearance of a back-country farmer. He sold out of the Bell Block Hotel during April last, and may endeavour to leave the colony and desert his wife.

John O’Donnell is inquired for by the Dunedin police, With the view of compelling him to support his wife and Children, who are destitute. Description : Irish, a labourer, jabout sixty years of age, 5 ft. 7 in. high, grey goatee and moustache, cheeks shaved. Last heard of on the Edendale Estate, Southland, about two years ago.

William Smith is inquired for by the Palmerston North police with the view of compelling him to contribute towards the maintenance of his son in the Gaversham Industrial School. Description : English, a labourer, about forty-four years of age, about 5 ft. 7 in. high, medium build, fair complexion, shaved except fair moustache ; a widower. Was seen in Wanganui about two months ago, but cannot be found there now. The sum of £l3 7s. was in arrear on the 15th March last.

William Benjamin Joseph Baker is inquired for by the Auckland police with the view of compelling him to contribute towards the support of his wife. Description : A native of Australia, a labourer, forty-three years of age, about 5 ft. 9 in. high, medium build, dark complexion, long brown beard, considered to be good-looking ; dressed in dark clothes, and soft-felt hat, Last heard of on the 4th March, 1898, when he was in the employ of Thomas Corbett, hotelkeeper, Hikutaia, Thames.
