Murder.—Free Pardon.—£soo Reward.
Whereas on the 18th September last the dead body of Henry Satherley was found in the Opawa River, near Blenheim : And whereas, at an inquest held on the 20th and 21st of the same month, it was shown that death'was caused by a blow upon the head, and a verdict of “ Wilful murder ” against some person or persons was returned : Notice is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor will grant a free pardon to any person, not being the
principal offender, who shall give such information as will lead to the conviction of the murderer or murderers; and a reward of £SOO will be paid to any person, not being the principal offender, who shall first give such information.
