James Gordon is charged on warrant of commitment to Auckland Gaol for six months’ labour for disobeying an order of Court to pay 6s. a week towards the support of his illegitimate child by Cecilia Howard. Description : A half-caste Maori, about fifty years of age, sft. lOin. or llin. high, strong wiry build, black beard whiskers and moustache, a bushman, miner, good stockman, and useful all-round man. Was last seen about the 16th ultimo between Whangamata and Waihi. The sum of £2O 10s. was owing on the 7th September, 1896.

Ormondville. Edward Charles Hansen is charged on warrant with disobeying an order of Court, made on the 9th October, 1895, to pay ss. a week towards the maintenance of his illegitimate child by Jessie Bennett. Description : A Scandinavian, a labourer, about twenty-six years of age, sft. Bin. high, slight build, very dark complexion, dark eyes, small black moustache, chin shaved. The sum of £7 15s. was due on the 12th October last.
