Rewards

Sergeant J. O’Malley, No. 26, Wellington police, has been awarded £2 from the Reward Fund for his exertions in resuscitating a man named Clapham, who fell into the harbour and was apparently drowned. (95/1470.) Sergeant J. Cullen, No. 194, Wanganui, and District Constable R. D. Jones, Moawhango, have been awarded £5 and £3 respectively in recognition of their services in obtaining convictions against YV. A. Floyd for sly grog-selling. (95/1515.) Constable J. Cullinane, No. 614, Nelson police, has been awarded £2 from the Reward Fund for zeal and vigilance displayed in the arrest of Walter Good, sentenced to fifteen months’ labour for breaking into and stealing from a store.
