Missing Friends.
William Henry Peters is inquired for by Isabella Jane Whyte, through the Dunedin police, with the view of compelling him to support his illegitimate child. Description: A tailor, about thirty-five years of age, about sft. 9in. high, slender build, fair complexion, brown hair, fair moustache, blue eyes, generally weirs navy-blue suit. He came to New Zealand from Cape Town, and was last seen in Auckland about six years ago, when he was supposed tc have gone to Sydney.
Edward Buxton Sutherland is inquired for by his son William Alexander Sutherland, Puketerahi, Dunedin. Description: Scotch, a shearer, about fifty-one years of age, sft. llin. high, stout build, pale complexion, dark hair, full red beard and moustache, turning grey; a widower; served in the Otago Police Force. He is supposed to be shearing, either in this colony or in New South Wales.
Jamieson. — Information is requested concerning Robert Jamieson, son of Dr. John Jamieson, who left for the goldmines in New Zealand thirty years ago. Inquirer, Mrs. Chambers, 58, Euclid Avenue, Toronto, Canada. (P.G.M. 95/2334.)
