(From Gazette, 1895, pages 869, 870, and 914.) Officers tender “ The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884," Wellington, appointed. Colonial Secretary’s Office, Wellington, 22nd May, 1895. IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by section 9 of “ The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” Thomas Avery, of Pahiatua, and Constable John Dennis Murphy, of Makuri, have been appointed officers for the purposes of that Act for the Counties of Hutt, Horowhenua, Wairarapa North, Wairarapa South, Pahiatua, Oroua, Manawatu, Kiwitea, and Pohangina, and within all the town districts and boroughs situated within the said counties. Clerk of Courts appointed. Department of Justice, Wellington, 23rd May, 1895. HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Constable Daniel Bogue to be Clerk of the Magistrate’s and Warden’s Courts, and Receiver of Gold Revenue and Mining Registrar, at Wyndham, from the Ist June, 1895, vice C. J. Hinton. W. P. REEVES.
Rangers tinder the Animals Protection Acts, Wellington, appointed. Colonial Secretary’s Office, Wellington, 24th May, 1895. HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint
Thomas Avery, Constable John Dennis Murphy, and
David Crossley to be Rangers, under “ The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, for the District of Wellington. P. A. BUCKLEY.
