Helensville. —John Alexander Wilson, Crosslands, reports stolen, about the 17th ultimo, twenty-five bullocks, three years old, branded JAW on left rump, notch out upper part of left ear; value, £4 each.

Papaiiura. —Stealing James M. Laing’s horses: Michael O'Shea, one of the two boys suspected, has been arrested by Constable W. Brennan, Cambridge police, and the steel-grey mare recovered. The other boy, whose name is now said to be Michael Charles Prone, parted company with O’Shea on the 12th ultimo, near Ngaruawahia, and spoke of going to Napier after he sold the bay gelding.
