Auckland. —James Horne, seaman, reports stolen from the scow “ Rata,” on the 17th or 18th instant, a grey double blanket, nearly new ; value, 10s. .

Dargaville.— Robert Young’s dog, reported stolen: It has now been ascertained that complainant drowned it in a waterhole. He is considered to be of weak intellect, and has left the district. Suspicion is therefore removed from David Rice.
Wanganui. —James Matheison, carpenter, reports stolen from a van in the railway-yard, between the 29th ultimo and the sth instant, three £5 notes.
Napier. —Edward Mortimer is charged on warrant with having, on the 3rd instant, stolen from a harness-room a blue-cloth sac-coat, nearly new; a leather watch-guard, mounted at ends and centre with rather plain gold bands, Jubilee sovereign attached; a plain gold ring with diamonds in centre ; and two other rings, which have been recovered : total value, £ls : the property of Arthur Palmer. Offender is supposed English, a labourer, about thirty years of age, sft. Bin. or 9in. high, medium build, fair complexion, cleanshaved except fair moustache; dressed in the coat above described, light-tweed trousers, and soft brown-felt hat. He is probably identical with man of same name charged with stealing the racing-mare Moutoa at Marton. (See Police Gazette , 1894, page 53.)
Masterton. Charles R. Pratt reports stolen from the Maori meeting-house, Te Oreore, on the 17th instant, a waterproof Inverness overcoat, cape loose in front, large greycheck pattern, lined with large red-check dark-fawn material, right hand pocket broken at bottom, grey buttons, three missing from about the centre, which is torn at one side, collar greasy ; value, £2^oß.
Wellington. —Philip Ventier, 157, Adelaide Road, reports stolen from a clothes-line, on the 15th or 16tli instant, two men’s flannelette shirts, a boy’s ditto, a pair of men’s white cotton drawers and undershirt, a pair of men’s hand-lmitted socks, and a small linen tablecloth ; value, £l.

Herbertville. —James Reynolds, alias G. Wells, charged with the larceny of two letters, the property of William Hales, has been arrested by Constable J. Gantley, Wellington police, and remanded to Napier.
Nelson. —Oswald Curtis, Coroner, reports stolen from his office in Hardy Street, between the 2nd and 7th instant, two pounds’ worth of penny and twopenny postage-stamps, some of each kind privately marked 1,2, 4,5, on backs.
“ Rotomahana ” s.s.—Alfred Hill, hatter, Wellington, reports stolen from the lavatory, on the Bth ultimo, a heavy gold hoop-ring, A L F in raised letters on outside, and a date inside. Reported to the Christchurch police.
Kubow. —George Sumpter, auctioneer, Oamaru, reports stolen from Delargy’s Hall, Kurow, on the 9th instant, a new opossum rug, lined with drab-coloured cloth, braided margin; value, £3 10s.
Dunedin. —Walter Brunton, grocer, North-east Valley, reports stolen from an express-wagon, on the 7th instant, a grey-tweed overcoat, much worn, five pockets; value, £1 10s.
