Gisborne. James Corrigan, Mangapapa, reports stolen from a paddock on the 27th or 28th ultimo a bay gelding, light draught, seven years old, about 16 hands high, white blaze down face, brand like a diamond under a half-circle on near shoulder, shod ; value, £25.
Port Awanui. —Paul Tanner, Tokomaru Bay, reports stolen from a paddock on the 20th or 21st ultimo a bay gelding, aged, about 15 hands high, branded EC on near shoulder, black points, mark of an old sore on wither, light spot on near side of nostril, unshod; value, £lO.
Akaroa. —Patrick Callaghan, Duvauchelle’s Bay, reports stolen, on the 23rd July last, a well-grown black-and-white heifer, two years old, in calf, top cut off near ear, and V out of top of off ear ; value, £6.
